A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Northern Minnesota and far Eastern North Dakota.  The watch is in effect until 7:00 PM CDT This Evening.

Hazards:

Hail to 2.5″ in diameter
Thunderstorm wind gusts to 70 mph
Dangerous lightning

Counties in the Duluth area that are included in the watch are:

Koochiching, MN
Itasca, MN
Cass, MN
Crow Wing, MN
Aitkin, MN

Some cities included in the watch are:

International Falls, MN
Littlefork, MN
Bigfork, MN
Grand Rapids, MN
Cass Lake, MN
Walker, MN
Leader, MN
Brainerd, MN
Aitkin, MN
McGregor, MN
