Counties in the Northland included in this flash flood watch are Cass and Crow Wing including the cities of Cass Lake, Walker, Longville, Backus, Cross Lake, Nisswa, Brainerd and Crosby.

An additional 2 to 4 inches of rain is possible in the watch area through late this evening. This rain is falling on top of the 1.25 to 1.50 inches of rain which fell earlier today which will increase the potential for flash flooding.

A flash flood watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding.
