
A clipper system brought widespread accumulating snow to much of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin Saturday evening through early Sunday morning.
Snowfall amounts were generally in the 2 to 4 inch range last night, but a few locations picked up more than 4″ of snow, including a 6.3″ total near Poplar, Wisconsin.
Snowfall total of 3.0″ at the Duluth Airport on November 13, 2021 was the 1st one inch or greater snowfall in Duluth this season. The average date for the 1st one inch or greater snowfall in Duluth is November 2nd (1991-2020 climate period).
