A look at our latest powerful spring storm to hit the Northern and Central Plains and upper Midwest via Goes-16 visible satellite loop from Saturday, April 23, 2022.

And on Goes-16 water vapor imagery.

This is a classic spring storm with heavy snow and blizzard conditions found to the west of the surface low, while severe thunderstorms and flooding occurs east/southeast of the surface low.
Speaking of that surface low, it was located in southeast North Dakota early this Saturday evening and will see this low track northeast to near the International Falls area by around 7 PM Sunday.
