There should be a lot of sunshine in the Northland on Wednesday with high temperatures in the mid 70s to around 80 degrees.
Temperatures warm into the 80s to around 90 degrees Thursday and will also have a slightly more humid air mass returning as well with dew points climbing into the 50s to around 60, but even muggier weather is expected Friday as dew points climb into the 60s.
Our next chance for some rain will come later this week as a low-pressure system with its warm front and cold front move east out of the Northern Plains and across the upper Midwest — Showers and thunderstorms are possible as this system moves through the area with the period from Thursday afternoon through early Saturday morning holding the greatest chance for scattered coverage rains in the Northland. The potential for severe weather looks pretty low at the moment, but this could change over the next day or so.
