Very heavy rain accompanied the strong to severe storms late this afternoon/this evening over parts of east-central Minnesota, especially around the Brainerd area and a little south of Brainerd where FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS are in effect into early Friday morning.

A look at the convection which erupted late Thursday afternoon from central to northeast Minnesota via Goes-16 satellite imagery.
