Some wet snow, rain and a wintry mix will affect portions of the Northland from early Monday morning through Tuesday morning as an area of low-pressure lifts northeast out of the central Plains.

This won’t be a major winter storm for the Northland with mostly light amounts of precipitation expected, but the snow that falls and accumulates will be wet and heavy so even a few inches of that type of snow is bad enough.

Scattered areas of light snow, rain and a wintry mix is possible in the Northland by late Sunday night, with more widespread precipitation expected during the day Monday into Monday night. Precipitation is expected to diminish during the day Tuesday.
