Warmer temperatures on the way the next few days with highs Wednesday in the mid 30s to low 40s in the Northland with 50s in parts of southwest Minnesota with even some 60s in parts of southern South Dakota.

Thursday looks even warmer with temps near 70 possible in parts of southern South Dakota with lower 60s in southwest Minnesota with 40s in northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin, but an isolated 50-degree temperature can’t be ruled out from Brainerd to Hinckley to Hayward Thursday afternoon.

Note — No widespread or significant precipitation is expected in the Northland for the rest of this week and through much of next week, although a few snow/rain showers are possible Friday mainly in northern Minnesota but little to no snow accumulation is expected.
