Late Saturday afternoon, a region of showers and thunderstorms emerged over parts of east central Minnesota. This rain system moved east-northeastward across areas of northwest Wisconsin. Additionally, other showers and isolated thunderstorms formed further north, affecting the McGregor and Duluth areas by Saturday evening.

Rainfall totals from Saturday’s precipitation varied, starting at approximately 0.05 inches and reaching up to a quarter of an inch, with the highest reported measurement being nearly half an inch at McGregor.
