A cold front currently over the eastern Dakotas will move eastward, likely reaching a line from southwest to northeast Minnesota by daybreak on Friday. This front is forecasted to linger over the mentioned areas until Saturday morning before dissipating.
Several waves of showers are expected to pass over the Northland through Saturday morning as a result of this cold front.
Showers are expected tonight until mid-morning Friday, followed by a possibility of more showers from late Friday afternoon through Saturday morning across parts of eastern Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
Regarding temperatures, they are expected to be quite comfortable through Sunday, with highs typically ranging from the mid-60s to the low-to-mid-70s, which is normal for this time of year.

For the Duluth area: The likelihood of rain is highest early Friday morning, between around 2 AM and 9 AM. It appears that the main area for heavier rainfall will be to the south/southeast of Duluth late Friday afternoon into Saturday morning, though the city may still experience a few showers.
Note: The Northland is anticipated to have another round of showers and possibly some thunderstorms starting Sunday afternoon, intensifying from Sunday night into early Monday morning. Additionally, a subsequent wave of rain and potential thunderstorms is predicted for the upcoming Tuesday.
