It wasn’t much rain, with the Duluth Airport recording only 0.02 inches this afternoon, but it was the first rain in Duluth since September 21st, when we saw 0.29 inches. We’re heading right back into a mostly dry pattern this week, and our next chance for rain might not come until next Sunday, a week from today.
Since January 1, Duluth has received 7.56 inches less precipitation than normal, and since September 1, the deficit stands at 1.48 inches below normal.
We’ve seen nearly 5 inches (4.84 inches) less precipitation in Duluth this year compared to 2024 up to October 5th.
