Rain has been moving east-northeast into southern parts of the Northland this afternoon, where moisture levels have increased with PWATS reaching up to 0.9 inches. Meanwhile, areas farther north, such as the Iron Range, Twin Ports, North Shore, and far northern Wisconsin, are experiencing less moisture due to high pressure to the north, with PWATS ranging from 0.5 to 0.7 inches.

Rain has moved north, reaching Walker, Brainerd, Aitkin, Moose Lake, Siren, and Hayward late this afternoon. Much of the radar echoes in northern Minnesota indicate virga or just a light drizzle.
This rain will taper off from west to east across southern parts of the Northland before midnight tonight.
Note: Light rain is forecasted for Duluth and Superior this evening, with expected amounts ranging from 0.03 to 0.10 inches.
Radar loop ends 4:50 PM Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
