Northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin saw precipitation from Friday through early Saturday morning, primarily as rain, though some areas reported sleet and even a touch of snow.

Some of the highest precipitation totals occurred in the far eastern areas of Duluth to Superior and a little further south/east from there due to some lake-effect precipitation.

In Duluth, rainfall amounts ranged from 0.07 inches at the airport to between 0.24 and 0.36 inches in areas like Duluth Heights and Lester Park.

About a quarter inch (0.27 inches) of precipitation was recorded at Superior Airport, while higher amounts of up to 0.56 inches were reported in the Boylston Junction area.

To the east, approximately 0.20 inches of precipitation fell in the Maple and Poplar areas of northwest Wisconsin, with totals increasing to 0.35 inches in Washburn, WI, and about a quarter inch in Ashland.
