It was another frigid morning in northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin, with widespread subzero temperatures making an appearance once again.
On Monday morning, the lowest temperatures were -23 at Seagull Lake, MN, and -17 at both Ely, MN, and Glidden, WI.
Other low temperatures on Monday morning were -15 in International Falls, -13 in Hibbing, and -4 at the Duluth Airport.
So far this month, Duluth, Minnesota has had 5 subzero nights. The December average is 9, with the record being 23 subzero nights in December 2013.
So far, December 2025 in Duluth is running 13.6 degrees colder than average through the 7th.
November 25th was the last time an above average temperature was recorded in Duluth.
