Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms rolled through parts of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin from Thursday evening into early Friday morning. Most areas that got rain saw amounts around or below 0.10 inches, but a few isolated spots in northwest Wisconsin picked up around a quarter inch or more.
In the Duluth area, rainfall ranged from 0.05 to 0.18 inches on Thursday evening, depending on where you live in the city.
The second rain event of the month in Duluth happened on Thursday (9th), but both rain events this month have brought less than 0.10 inches of rainfall.
The Duluth Airport last recorded at least a quarter inch of rain on September 21st, nearly three weeks ago.
