Recently, we have experienced a persistent weather pattern, with consistent east winds near Lake Superior leading to cool afternoon temperatures for late May. However, this phenomenon is not particularly unusual for the spring season.

Today, May 26th, is the 11th consecutive day of below-average temperatures in Duluth, with May 15th being the last day that recorded an above-average temperature.

We had some isolated showers in the Northland today and expect similar weather on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Note: Tuesday may see slightly better coverage of showers, but areas near Lake Superior, including Duluth, will likely remain dry.
