Northern Minnesota Soakers: Northome Leads Friday Night Rainfall

Parts of northern Minnesota saw plenty of rain from Friday night’s storms, with Northome leading the way at 2.49 inches, followed by Orr with 2.36 inches.

Rain totals dropped farther south, with about 0.6 inches in Ely, 0.4 inches in Hibbing, and just 0.08 inches at the Duluth Airport.

Rainfall near the fires in far northern St. Louis and far northwest Lake County in northeast Minnesota ranged from 1 to 2 inches in northern St. Louis County to generally under half an inch in northwest Lake County.
