Scattered showers or thunderstorms may occur in parts of the Northland on Saturday afternoon or evening due to a southeastward-moving cold front.
Late this afternoon and evening, parts of the Northland may experience a few strong to severe thunderstorms, accompanied by strong winds, hail, and heavy rainfall.
