Looking ahead, next week’s forecast indicates a strong and slow-moving upper trough over the northern Plains. This system is expected to move south/eastward in the middle to latter part of the week, influenced by a ridge positioned over central Canada.

The expected rainfall in the Northland for next week remains uncertain, with computer models showing varying predictions on the trajectory of the system post-Tuesday.

The map below displays potential rain totals for next Tuesday as predicted by the NWS Blend of Models, though these amounts may vary in the coming days.
